Welcome!
Hello there and welcome to my tech blog written by a human (that’s me)! I wanted to give a brief introduction of myself and what I plan on posting here.
Who I Am
My name is Brittan Reichley, and I am currently a Site Reliability Engineer working mostly with cloud platforms as well as on-premise systems. I enjoy learning about various technology topics including (but not limited to) software development, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and automation. I’m a big DevSecOps enthusiast with the dream of eliminating all of the silos we have between teams in the industry today.
What To Blog About?
My goal for this blog is to focus on documenting new technologies as I begin tinkering with them as well as a way to document/solidify the topics and skills I already have. While it will help myself reference things, I also hope my posts may help others and generate conversations to improve my own and others understandings of how things work. Maybe there’s a better way of approaching a problem? Perhaps something wasn’t described the way it was supposed to be? We can only grow by having civilized, productive, and constructive conversations, which I aim to faciliate here for everyone.
As I am a human being, there may also be some (what I would consider) fun posts popping up from time to time. Topics like recipes I have made, fun travel locations I’ve gone, and the occasional book/video game review. I feel it’s never a bad thing to faciliate a good work to life balance as there’s a whole world out there to experience (and we only have short time here after all 😉).
Conclusion
To conclude this post, I appreciate anyone who may have stopped by to read this, and I hope you may stick around for the future content I plan on creating. Feel free to interact with any of my content or reach out with any inquiries. I’ll try to respond as soon as I can!
